Repair skim coat, product compatibility

Hi, I ordered a large quantity of glass cast 50 for a project and it was great to work with. Only problem is I ran out of resin to achieve the desired height due to wood absorption. I have some areas that need a thin coat to cover some imperfections. As I stated, I don’t have any more material to work with but wanted to find a compatible product here in the Eastern US, like Minwax Polycrylic, to fill those air bubbles and what not. Would that, or any other acrylic type of resin, be a viable option? Thanks!

Hi,

We have not experimented with coating over in acrylic or any other types  at  present,  however we do have experience of our other GlassCast epoxy resins being coated over with no issues so I would expect there to be no issues with other epoxies. However, to be on the safe side I would conduct a small test in one corner before flood coating the whole table just in case.
