Hi, I'm planning on creating a worktop in the new kitchen, with biscuit cut sliced logs set in a clear resin with a layer perhaps 5-10mm above the wood  The wood will be approx 20mm thick, with resin in between and over . So overall thickness will be in the region of 30-40mm.Reading up I've worked out i'll need to seal the wood  But I'm stuck on working or how much resin I'll need. The overall area is 7 meters x 06 metres with a thickness of resin of 30mm, I'm thinking I can cut that in half at least because of the wood taking up the space so 15mm x 7m x .6m? Also would gc 50 be the ideal medium? Cheers

You might need less depending on the logs volume.  The more accurate you can be with calculating the volumes then the more accurate the resin quantity.  Your worktop is quite thick and quite long.
