Hi guys,

I actually planning to use this epoxy for a research project where i need to adhere composites to timber members for testing.

I am have varying amounts of epoxy to apply on the join area, and i need to accurately ensure that the right amount of epoxy is used. I am using the thickness as a gauge.

I plan to make a mould to pour the epoxy in over the join area, however, I am having trouble finding a material that would not stick to the epoxy well. So that i can remove the mould and resuse it again on another piece of timber. Suggestions for a material would be great!!

Also, I heard using wax paper on a prep table is advisable as epoxy does not stick very well to wax paper, is there any other suggestions for this??

Thanks guys!!

Nylon or plastic board like a cutting board works well.
