Hey all.
I love the prepreg fabric, as I can get it cut very neatly, and concentrat on weave pattern directions, and find it all very clean. However, I am struggling to have a have a non pin hole / dry finish. So I am contemplating putting a layer of resin down before sticking the prepreg into place and maybe usng it in this manner and go infusing (hence why posted here )
Anyone tried this?

Not going to work, you're mixing two different types of epoxy which will certainly effect one another. In any case, there's no point - OOA pre-pregs already have the perfect amount of resin to obtain a perfect surface finish. If you aren't getting a perfect finish, it isn't a fault of the pre-preg, it's something to do with your technique. Certainly if you are getting dry sections rather than just the odd pin-hole, there's something wrong there.
Alternatively it you can't get pre-preg to work, it is certainly possible to get neat neat edges and joints with dry fabric, it just takes a lot more care.
