Newbie ratio question for clarification please

I am about to finish a small table top with glass cast 3, having never used it before. The datasheet advises 1kg of resin/sqm/mm and a ratio of 2:1.
However I note that the kits come as what look like ratios, e.g. 0.5kg = 333g resin and 167g hardner (i.e. 2:1 ratio), etc.
Can I just clarify please before I mix, for a 1mm thickness over 1sqm do I need 1kg of final mix or 1kg of resin + 500g hardner.

Sorry if this is a silly question but better to clarify now than find out afterwards!
Thank you.

Hi gasdoc,

You need 1kg final mixed weight to achieve 1mm thickness over a square metre area so in the case of the GlassCast3, 667g Resin to 333g hardener.
