is this caused by too much vacuum?

Hi! i've not had this problem with infusion before, only thing i did differently was running much stronger vacuum, 29 inHg's. (if so, what is a proper vacuum pressure)
the fabric is fully wetted out, no dry spots, but i can feel the dimples.
the piece was 2x2 twill layers sandwiching a soric layer.

one last thing, is it alright to let the soric layer be visible, like in the 3rd picture? i'm wondering why use carbon tape around the edges in your car bonnet video, just cosmetics or..?

Much Thanks

Are you using a polyester or vinyl ester resin? It looks like a high degree of shrinkage to me. If youre using poly or vinyl then this is pretty normal in my experience. If you're using epoxy then its a bit odd and I suspect you demoulded too soon. Print through of the Soric is quite normal if your laminate is thin on either side, but this looks a bit worse than that.

No harm in having the Soric edges exposed, purely a cosmetic choice not to.
