Adding acrylic paint to colour GlassCast

I have been contemplating taking up the hobby of resin art for some time, and with the New Year fast approaching, I've decided to give it a go.  Working out the best materials for the job seems a little tricky, since a lot of the resin epoxy brands are not always available in the UK.  I'm happy to have now found the Easy Composites website.  I've watched a multitude of online tutorials, whereby a very small amount of standard acrylic paint is added to the mix in order to produce the colourisation required (the idea here is that you mix up your colours into separate cups, then pour onto your canvas/board from each cup).  Could anyone please tell me whether they've had any success adding acrylic paint to GlassCast to colour it, or if they think it would be a viable experiment worth trying?  The resin does not need to maintain full transparency.  Many thanks, in advance, Vince

It is not something we have tried with acrylic paints ourselves, although we have heard of customers doing it with paints, as well as with pigments and dyes.  I see no reason why it should not work but a bit of experimentation would be advisable to ensure best results.
