I'm Dave from Derby,

I have joined to learn more about various resin casting techniques.  I like making various ornaments and decorative pieces and am wanting to branch out into using resins more after having had a play with EC's GlassCast.

I am hoping to do some more projects soon and want to have a play with more clear casting with wood and perhaps experiment with a bit of roto-casting as the video on here has given me a few ideas! I will probably dabble in a little carbon fibre where it suits my projects.

Hi Dave,

Welcome on board. We actually have a new member of the team here at Easy Composites who has joined us to really concentrate on all the creative applications for resin casting, her name is Becky and she will be producing lots of video tutorials and guides for creative casting processes. I'm sure she will be happy to chip in on any questions you may have. You can see a couple of her new tutorial videos in our learning area with lots more to come (including some exciting videos using clear casting resin with wood, maybe along the lines that you're planning!).
