Laying carbon into mould

Hi I have  a new mould with 5 small parts in, they all have small but tightish curves in I worry that if I just lay carbon over it then vacuum it won't sit tidy into the mould.
Can I use spray glue the then lay the carbon into the curves, that's if I was the clear gel coat before the lay up.

My other question is do I need to clear gel coat? The mould is made from polyester gel coat. And worry it might stick using epoxy resin. I would easy lease and wax as if I was a new mould.

Thanks

Yes, a spray tack would be very useful. Cytec's Aerofix 3 works really well with EC's resins and leaves little or no trace if used sparingly, even on a 'bare' mould surface. Cutting your fabric into appropriately-sized pieces to can help get neat cosmetics if there's a likelihood that using a single piece of fabric will just pull and distort the weave, especially when dealing with significant changes in angle

Using an in-mould coating will also help ensure that your spray-tack is less likely to leave a residue and also give you a surface that's polishable, should there be any traces that you need to eliminate
