I've just joined this forum though I've been reading quite a few of the posts.
I'm preparing to start making my first few parts, mainly resin infused carbon fibre parts for my race motorbikes.
I have a part which is made from 3 relatively flat and simple brackets, and I would like to assemble the plugs on one flat 'mould plate' like the attached image.
My question is, can I lay 3 seperate pieces of carbon - one over each part - with peel ply etc covering the whole mould - or does the infusion process only work properly if there is one piece of carbon covering the whole part set / mould?
I know there's an easy way to find out (try it!) but I'm trying not to waste too much material!
Would appreciate any advice.

You can do multiple parts in one infusion, You can control the resin infusion speed by leaving gaps in the flow media. Areas with just peel ply can be used to slow the flow rate right down. Have a look at the photos in my earlier post:
