Quick question for the oven builders,

how is celotex working out in your oven.

If used as the inside face so no protective layer between it and the heat how is it holding up,

is it becoming damaged and what kind of temperatures can you run.

Does anyone know what the upper temperature of it would be, can safely run 160 deg or higher.

thanks Chris.

HI Chris,

Celotex uses polyisocyanurate based foams.  All I could find is that the raw foam has a heat distortion temperature around 150C, however no specific data as to maximum service temperature in the form of the insulation boards people commonly use. It might be worth emailing their distributor or similar to see if they have a datasheet.
