Epoxy tooling gelcoat - use with polyester resin?

Hi Guys.

Got some Epoxy tooling gelcoat for some small molds. I also bought some polyester resin and chopped mat.

Will the polyester resin work with the epoxy tooling gelcoat or will it only work with epoxy?

Okay cheers mates.

Just hoped i could a corner with the polyester resin over epoxy resin lol. Funds are limited being back to school.

But no polyester for my epoxy gelcoat then.
