Hi all,
Just wanted to hear your methods and thoughts.
For my next project I am making a spoiler for a remote controlled car, which is a fairly simple curved design much like an F1 wing minus the side plates.
I am looking for a perfect cosmetic finish so I was intending on doing a resin infusion, however I would like a gloss finish on both sides of the part.
I have read about doing the infusion without peel ply and using a core material for flow media then just using vacuum bagging straight over the carbon fabric but this still wont give a perfect finish..
What are my options other than making two halves and gluing together?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Honaldo,
Bonding two halves together isn't a problem, although I was just looking for a more pure method.
A match mould is definitely an option however I don't have an oven for prepreg at current.
Thanks for the suggestions!
