It is easy to make a two part guitar mold with resin infusion. The problem I have is then gluing the two CF pieces together. The thickness of the part is at most 1/8". Any ideas how to make a more substantial joint efficiently? I've tried methylmethacralate glue but very narrow weak joint. Thank you

Join the two together using a lap/scarf joint, you mould one side so at the join it steps back and laps over the 2nd part to increase the surface area of the joint.

The book "Composite Materials: Fabrication Handbook #3" by John Wanberg has a step by step guide to make a 2 part composite guitar body
