hello everyone. i was wondering if you guys from easy composites could exlplain more about this, i´ve being wondering about the uses and aplication of diferent types of Core Materials sorry if it is a stupid question :/ im really curious about this, specially for automotive parts development, which ones/how/where they should be used

You can fill the honeycombs around the hole with a mixture of resin and a compression resistant filler material like glass bubbles, cotton, ground glass or carbon fibers etc., effectively creating a crush resistant insert which bonds to the surface layers. Or you can glue a few small glass or carbon tubes into the honeycomb. Very pressure and crush resistant.
