Hello all,

I am currently doing some rearranging and making some upgrades to my work shop and one of my upgrades is to build a new table/work station that will be strictly used for composite work. I am currently in the design phase of this work station and would like to get some input from the experts on what type of material would be best to use as the final table top?

If you simply want a surface to work from then the choices are endless, if you want to produce flat sheet then a glass top is going to help.

if you in the UK Ikea sell very cheap glass table tops that can be adapted easily, when not needed you can simply use lining paper as a throw away cover, I got a few rolls and then tack them in place with some brown parcel tape.
