HI guys for some reason my pump doesn't seem to be pulling full vaccum, the flow indicator has stopped spinning but the gauge isn't quite at -30
Even with the part clamped off it still doesn't go down to -30 but it did used too what's causing this?  http://www.talkcomposites.com/Uploads/Images/cdb0d1a9-5c6b-429c-a415-f8ce.jpg

OK so came out of the mould all nicely but for the first time I've had print through from the soric can see the honeycomb through the carbon? http://www.talkcomposites.com/Uploads/Images/01a40327-2e3c-4124-b046-3f3e.jpg

Cores will always print. Soric has less print, but they do always print. It's caused by the larger quantities of resin in the channels of the core shrinking more. When it is cold (I'm assuming you are in Europe), the resin takes longer to cure, so when you demould after 24 hours it won't be quite fully cured and it will print sooner. You can reduce it slightly by leaving the part to cure longer in the mould, but it will eventually print. Post-coating helps reduce the appearance of it.
