Warp risk of Low/High Density Polyurethane Foam Blocks?

Hello,

the objective is to create precise master patterns as a basis for UNI Mould system moulds. The pattern, moulds and ultimately parts need to be tempered at up to 85°C.

Pattern making process (you may assume for an airfoil with a span of 1.5m):

1: CNC machine pattern -0.5mm
2: apply a coating, that can me machined to 0.0mm
3: sand and polish (note: Sanding and polishing will be minimal and are only required to create the required surface quality, machining will define the shape; we talk about precision parts)

Are the Low/High Density Polyurethane Foam Blocks suitable for this process?

What coating would be recommended for step 2?

Warp has been an issue using other pattern materials - so are these products an alternative?
