Hi all, Ive watched the YouTube vids over the last few days and I've been inspired! I've got a bike (Triumph Daytona) and I'm going to be converting it to a cafe racer over the coming months. Now, I'm going to be changing the seat unit so it has no pillion option and I'm thinking of making it out of carbon. I'm also looking to make various other parts out of carbon such as the footrest heel plates, chain guard, small nose cone etc etc. Basically, a lighter version of a speed triple. I haven't made anything like this before although I do know how to spanner  I need to know what I'll need (everything) to begin. I assume a pump to create a vacuum, plus the various carbon sheets and resins and glues. So, if someone can sort me out a shopping list and why I need it that would be cool. Cheers all!

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum!
Nice bike, I have plans for a 675R next year and a Ducati Monster based Cafe Racer project so it'll be great to see how you progress through.
