O here's some images of me making my parts, Ill update this thread more when I get the orginal parts out of the mold or make the cf ones. these parts are for a 2006 lotus elise s2 Federal

This is the 4th attempt at this mold.... I have bean trying to get these door pulls during my whole learning process. first one I made was good but I forgot to put pva and wax on it before making my part... second one had thin spots third leaked now this....

Here's the door puls finished this one mold I am making will be the final mold, I made this one in the photo with a leaky mold, so after the part came out I pitched it again...

Acess panel covers... I threw away these molds once because I thought it would be slick to put a few 45 degree angles in the corners of the mold face, tell I tried to bag that with pleats lol..

Some finished products made with old molds, this one above was 1 of 2 pressure tested 24 hrs, ready to get the best polish I ever did!

Here's a few more pics.

First off hear is the engine covers de-moulded. They came out good, except the large one has a Piece of carbon floating in there. I am going to make a pattern and pre cut every piece from now on.

I plan to just leave these parts bare carbon and sell them cheap to someone local. My car has a Super Charge on it now so the rear plate wont even fit. I found a guy in indonesia whom is sending me his elise SC engine cove which I think will fit mine too. So I will make his and mine, then send him his Part in CF and his orginal for free, Hope I don't break his part. I only broke one but I am pretty confident now. Now the biggest demould problem is some painted parts are reacting to this orange tooling gel I am using and blisters the paint occasionally. fortunately for me the part at hand is not painted, just abs plastic.

Another project up next is making the side scoop molds for my elise. I actually bought a set of CF ones before I got into making the parts. Still I need the mould to add the part to my online store + I may use a hybrid red/black fabric for the outer layer.
