Hi,

For my first project, I want to make box for my daughter treble (she's got 3). I know how careful teenagers are...

I design the first box with 4 parts. Here are some views :

The external dimension are 110 x 240mm.

Did you see some difficulties to make this parts with 200gsm carbon fibre 2/2 Twill, 4 plies with epoxy infusion ?

These are quite small boxes.. I would go for a lighter fabric than 200 gsm twill.

4 layers of 200 gsm twill will produce a 0,8 - 1 mm thick shell, which will be much stronger than you need for these small cases.

Also a lighter weight fabric may be easier to get to conform to the small cornes and radii you have.

The inside parts with the cutouts for the instrument itself will be very difficult to get carbon fibre fabrics to conform to.
