hello! I have been asked to make kite surf boards for the work I am building a mold design received the doubt when it comes to fabrics that I use, and I would like to hear different opinions. The boards should be 3 levels of thickness, a finer edge, the next step about 2 or 3 millimeters thicker, and finally a core of 5 mm to accommodate a nut m6.
My first idea is as follows: first layer (starting from the fabric that touches the water) carbon fiber red / blue 200 g, 300g white Diolen, Lantor soric 2mm, 200g carbon fiber, core closed cell PVC foam inserts with 5mm steel and cut into 3 strips imitating the board displayed on the video, surrounded by strips of carbon, carbon fiber cloth following 200g, Lantor soric 2mm, white Diolen 300g, and finally a carbon fiber fabric 200g. nuclei are those that mark the different levels, so the first soric, does all the size of the board, pvc foam the core of the smallest, and the next soric softens as being between 2 levels, while fabric cover the entire board.
