I've been researching suppliers for Carbon Fibre in Australia and there aren't too many in my area. The couple places i've found have reasonable rates (for Aus.) from $40-50/m2 for 200gsm 2x2 twill fabric.
I've contacted a few factories in China via Alibaba and their rates are generally around $15-20/m2. Even their prepreg equivalent (2x2 twill) is lower than the Australian rate for fabric.
Does anyone have any input or experience going this route for almost half the price? I'm getting some samples sent to me in the mean time
