Hi,

I have question about pre-peg.

1) If I dont have special oven or autoclave I can made items from pre-peg carbon fiber?

Example...

2) I made mold.... Than I use pre-peg carbon fiber +  vacuum bag/ pump and wait 2 days...

What happening? I can made something if I use this strategy? Or I need obligatory warming pre-peg?

3) I can use kitchen electric oven? Something like this...

I only need made hole for vacuum pump. Right?

Soory about my english skill.
Thanks.

Negative on the first question. You need an oven. The resin never really 'cures' without it, it just goes crispy and stiff.

You can use a kitchen oven for smaller parts, as long as the pre-preg you are using doesn't require a complex cure schedule. If you can just stick it in at 80 degrees and leave it overnight, a kitchen oven works fine.
