Hello everybody,

For years I've stood outside hungrily staring through the window at the carbon fiber world. I'm finally (financially) at the point in life where I can start pursuing the projects that have been bouncing around in my head.

My interest in carbon fiber is primarily automotive, or at least that's what sparked it. I do have ideas concerning other areas, but I have to start getting experience somewhere.

I ended up at this forum mostly because I have ideas for which I'm having difficulty finding answers. I have watched a lot of the tutorial videos by Easy Composites, and like the way they present information.

I'm glad to be here, and thank you all for making this site possible.

Well ... If you're in Alaska then I think the first thing you need to invest in is a nice well heated and ventilated workshop space ... BigGrin

Most CF composite work really needs "comfortable" temperatures 18 - 20 degrees Centigrade ...   Also I seem to remember that Alaska can get a bit humid in the summers, that can present problems with epoxy resins.

Welcome to the EC forum and  -- Good Luck!!
