Glass Fiber Electric guitar body?

Hiya All,
I've been asked to build a glass fiber guitar for a customer. Glass fiber guitars where made back in the 60's and highly collectable now.
If it was a "standard body shape" I could order a kit online, but the guitarist would like a custom body shape (which I can design). And surplus he's thinking about a sparkle finish.
As this is quite a cool project I'm accepting the challenge and would like to ask for your help (I've never worked with fiberglass).
So here are a few questions to start with (sure there will be popping up some more) :

1. The mold construction using the Uni-Mould Mould Making System looks like the right way to go to obtain a nice surface on the parts to be made. If there is a better way to make a mold please shoot.

2. What gelcoat should I use? I was thinking to go for the GC50 Epoxy Compatible Polyester Gelcoat as the surface is highly polishable.
    a) Can I use Epoxy Colour Pigment to get a non transparent solid color on the surface.
    b) Would it be possible to add metal flake to the gelcoat?

The body will be constructed using a top and back (sliding into each other) more info can be found here if you're wondering about the constrution.

Thanks in advance for your help.

ok found out I have to use Polyester Pigment with the GC50 system.
Just going to try the flakes in the gelcoat.
