Conductivity of carbon fibre tape

I presume your CF tape is conductive (12v) ? I believe it can be used as a heating element for clothing, gloves, etc

Get a low ohm multimeter, and measure the resistance ..  the trick is to get a good contact with the carbon fibres.. I would think CF Tow will be easier to work with.

Alternatively get a car battery, a high amp meter and try it on a long piece of narrow CF tape, and measure the Amps ..

CF is ok for heating filaments in areas where there is no repeated sharp bending or stressing of the contact points.. but it is rather brittle when not encased in some sort of resin.
