how would you go about repairing a 13m split in the male end of a pole section ? also what agent do you use for cleaning up after repair ie removing resin excess, ?

You should set up a "How To" sticky thread with links to stuff like this. Save you being asked the same question over and over, or at least give an easy way to link to the answers cause repeatedly asked questions is the norm in forums.
