Windsurfing mast

Hi

I need to repair this windsurfing mast, see attached pictures.

The problem here is the downward pressure making the fibre going apart. My guess it that the pressure is around 200-300kg.

Any idea how to fix this? Which fiberorientation could best take up the pressure?

Thanks for your replies, I have now bonded two rings on mast and it seems like it will work.
