Hello Smile

Signed up after finding the site via google. I'm interested in making some aero parts for our races cars (2x 2dr GC8 Imprezas)

First off will be a lightweight splitter for the cars - I have a temp. plywood item but it weighs too much. I'm thinking - use a 10mm foam core (whats the lightest foamboard that wont react?), but then is simply laying  carbon/kevlar sheet/resin on top of this sufficient? I'm not really in it for the looks, just weight/strength. Any suggestions/links/instructions for me here would be good Smile

Second would be a mould of the front bumper on the blue car... to suit the white car. Will read up on mould making before tackling that LOL

Thanks in advance Smile

hmmm, this way seems quite logical, and easy if just going for a flat board.... rather than a shaped item with brake ducts etc
