I wanted to start this Topic earlier but you know how it is!

So, this is my Project. Its an Aprilia RSV Mille from 2002 with a little crash damage to the front.

Heres how i got her

The first thing was stripping!!! Taking everything off and making choices of what can be used and whats not light enough or not good enough

The one thing that I realy wanted to make was a big airbox and a tank/seat/airbox monocoque. I started with the bottom part of the airbox. This is only the rough cutout without the support for the filter. The shower setup is also not done. This one is straight from the 999.

Another big part was taking all the electric to the front and making my own wiring! Heres a picture of the finished airbox, my shower setup and most of the electric.

I also switched the 2 radiators for a single, big one from the ZXR400. 1/3 bigger but still 100g lighter!. The build of the model for the tank/seat monocoque was a nightmare! It took ages but it turned out realy nice.

The whole finished part that is the seat, tank (7-8l) and the top part of the airbox weighs around 4kg without the pump.
Its a realy big project and im not close to being done.
I´ve calculated (Wasnt on the scale yet) that the bike wheighs around 155kg with 5kg of gas and all other fluids. With fairings and the last bits and bobs i´ll probably be at around 165-170kg with a full tank of gas. The last pictures are from the test in Oschersleben and right after.

This has been my project for the last 4 months so I dont know what else to write. If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask! I´ll try and answer all of them. I also like critical comments and/or sugestions!

Cheers from Germany!

Hi!
It was all wet becouse I didnt have the experience with other methods. Should have done it with infusion but I only tried that a few months ago.
