Is it possible to use ABS plastic structure as a core material for CFRP laminating?
For example, 1, I 3D-print some core material structure which is made of ABS plastic. 2, Next I laminate some CFRP on the ABS core structure, then I use vacuum bag or something to cure.
If it is possible, I think I can make unique shape parts(curved tube, for example) in short time. but I wonder that the ABS core structure separates from CFRP skin when the part is under stress. then ABS core structure is useless as a core material.
Thanks,

Thanks for responding!
