Wax fillet strips

Hey all,

Just wanted to see who has used anything like the Freeman wax fillet strips before?

Went to pick up some vacuum bag from my supplier yesterday, and he's gotten to know me quite well (an indicator that I am spending far too much time and money at the place Laugh ). While I was there I was complaining about how much time I spend using plasticine in flanging, and he showed me these wax fillet strips for mould flanges. Heat them up and push them into place, and they create their own radius so they sound really good and easy to use in theory. I bought a few to try, so I'll give them a go, but at $2 each I'm all of a sudden not keen to waste them Tongue

After thinking about it, I realised I probably can't use these things on the 2-part mould that I am currently making for my spoiler, as the radius would distort the shape of the final part? Or am I not thinking about this correctly?
