do you guys not use implants?
im not that experienced with this stuff but maybe make a lil box he same circumference as the disc and dip it in 4mm of clear epoxy?
the rick would be to get the disc to sit in the centre of he resin which.. actually if you do that you will need to do it in both sides, so lil 3mm deep disc box with 2 mm outer space edge spray in a release agent put disc in the bottom of the circular box and cover with resin, bake for a few hours (depending on resin), remove and do the other side
