i saw a picture of a section of carbon fibre "tunnel" that had an interior carbon fibre hexagon core. at first i thought ok so he made some hexagon box lengths, glued them together, then wrapped it up in another layer. then i noticed a curve in the tunnel. ive drawn a terrible pic to demonstrate what it was like.

how the f**k was this done?

no, ok think of the entire structure as a beam, with a radius of say 20cm, and a length of 1m with a curve at the end like in the drawing. the outer wall is 2mm thick. within the outer walls are honeycomb tunnels, running from one end to the other with a wall thickness of .8mm. get me?
