I have some trolleys that have foam blocks with a fitted canvas cover on top. I replaced them recently at a cost of £2,071 per trolley.  One trolley received knife damage within a week (snap-off blade knife).

I am about to recover, but need to find a suitable cut-resistant material to go over the canvas covers.

Suggestions most welcome!!

Trolley dimensions (approx.): 3m long x 0.5m wide x 150mm depth.

Thank you.

We have a range of Kevlar Protective Textiles you may wish to look at and consider experimenting.  Most of the fabrics will offer some slash resistance.

It is impossible to quantify a level of protection as most such specialist garments/covers are extensively tested in house by the manufacturer to find the right fabric and number of layers needed for the desired protection. You would need to do some experimentation to find out what is an acceptable level of protection for your needs.
