I have finally finished my 2m x 2m x 2m oven with internal vac lines etc and plan to start to use Easy-Preg Surface Layer and Vari-Preg pre-preg carbon fiber material.

I understand that the Easy-Preg needs to be cured at 100'c > however the Unimold system is rated up to 90'c

What would be the ideal mould to use for this?

I have used existing moulds I had for infusion made from Uni Mould with the Easy and Vari Preg without problems. I just ran than them through a couple of post cure heat cycles first. It may not be recommended in the data sheets but I have taken them to 110 Degrees C. Hopefully someone from EC will be along soon to clarifySmile

Cheers, Warren.
I was going to just "suck it and see" but I didn't want to make a huge mess, not to mention waste Smile

We have had a couple of customers say they have got higher temperatures with Uni-Mould than the data suggests.  We are going to do some additional tests, in the next few weeks, with an old mould and some pre-preg to see how high we can go with the system.

That would be fantastic Smile
