I´m trying to replicate a wing but i´m having hard times figuring how can i do the seams of the top and bottom part so i can have a good cosmetic finish.
The problem is the seams on the original wing are in the angles (V shaped) so i can find out how i will make a flange in the two sides were i can aply the bonding agent.

Here are some photos to illustrate

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

This is how I made neck for my harp.     http://www.talkcomposites.com/8522/Harp?Keywords=harp

Having made my 2 part mould I made the 2 sides.

Trimmed them back to the top edge of the mould.

Put them back into the mould and bonded with PT326 adhesive. Which after rubbing down looked like this.

I then painted over with GC50.

Then sanded down an and polished to this.

I may have over trimmed the 2 sides so that the joint is too thick but it still looks OK.
There may be a better way but this worked for me.

Brian.
