Hello, my name is Allen. I’m 57 and I’ve been a hands on hobbyist all my life. I’ve restored many cars from the ground up including the paint. I’ve built full size small boats from scratch. Over the last 6 years I have focused all my time and energy into racing 60 to 80mph Gas RC Boats. I have spent the last six months building my first plug. My goal is to win races with my own design. I have invested several thousand dollars and have acquired all the equipment I need to produce a hull out Kevlar/CF, CF and S-glass. I bought a 12 CFM air compressor, 3M gel-coat gun, a gun for PVA, vacuum pump and accessory equipment etc. I’m ready to go. So I need to start a thread on my questions. I need help with suggestions on the dry lay-up of the different clothes. I’m building a 46inch long by 18inch wide catamaran similar to the picture below. I’m concerned about the viability of the vacuum bagging process with a mould with so many, curves, strakes, steps etc. Where is the best place to post my questions in the forums? I’m super excited with discovering this community and appreciate the opportunity to post my questions and have industry professionals and other experienced individuals who are passionate about composite builds guide me with some great advice and suggestions. I appreciate the help, Allen
