Hello, I was looking for Bi-axail and uni-directional cloth as the seem to be teh best strength/weight, and found suppliers that offers TRI and QUAD axial weaves. I know the fabric would get stiffer/ less drapable with every additional layer, harder to work with on curved surface. I was wondering, has anybody used a Tri/quad axail cloth before? Thought it might be an option for something like a pickup tonneau cover? What was your experience, Pros/Cons? The weaves look pretty trick/crazy, might be a nice option on style/looks?

Some of those are very nice looking fabrics!  As eluded to above, multiple layers and thicker fabrics can be harder to lay up as well as wet out in some circumstances.  Other than the unique cosmetic appeal, the structural reasons for such clothes would generally be fairly specific.

one nice thing with the 0/+-60 spread tow is that it makes for quasi-isotropic plys which would be nice for single skin panels
